I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at S.i. Systems (Toronto, ON) in Sept 2025
Interview
After a 1-hour and 30-minute pre-screening assessment and 3 interviews, the team didn't have the common decency to inform me that I was not successful in the process. Lack of humanity is one thing, but this is the scum of the earth. Wasting over 3 hours of someone's time and not even bothering to send an email to the candidate. I'm not too sure the VP likes people of colour (being generous with that wording). I could tell before the interview even started from how he looked at me I wasn't getting the job. To display this level of disrespect to someone who spent hours trying to get into your company is appalling. Be warned by this and the other reviews citing lateness, lack of work etiquette.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
- Tell me about your previous experiences in recruitment.
- Tell me about yourself.
2 interviews: 1st with Managing Director who asked 7 situational questions. 2nd round interview within 1 week with the SVP who asked the same 7 questions. They never asked to “tell me about yourself” and really didn’t seem to want to get to know you all. There wasn’t much time left in my allotted 30 mins to ask them all the questions I had but the ones they did answer felt rushed and sounded like pure BS. Did not get a good vibe from the get go. Apply at your own risk. The assessment is crap

Question 1
When was the last time you competed for something and what was the outcome?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at S.i. Systems (Ottawa, ON) in Dec 2022
Interview
This company has zero professionalism.
The Good: The interview process was casual. They do ask your standard questions and then some, but it is still relaxed.
The Bad: I had a great interview. I gave well articulated responses, and really connected with those who interviewed me. They told me they would try to get me transferred to the writing department straight away (or after being a recruiter if they didn't have vacancies), and that this was meant as a "total compliment". They even showed me where this department was before I left! The first thing they told me in the interview was that everyone got feedback in a week regardless (which I was looking forward to). I never got that! I never even got the automated rejection email other people on here say the've gotten from them. I waited another week, sent a formal email, and later left a message for hr. Nothing! Bottom Line: You could have a great interview, but this company will go back on their word after wasting 40min of your time.
