I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SCAN Health Plan (Long Beach, CA) in Aug 2012
Interview
Interview process is standard. HR outreach through phone, then hiring manager, then team and then upper management interviews. Very fair questions. Hiring boss wanted to understand personalities and capabilities.

I applied online. I interviewed at SCAN Health Plan (Long Beach, CA) in Nov 2025
Interview
The first two rounds went very well. I met with the recruiter, then the hiring manager. I was then scheduled for a panel interview. Before the panel, I received a request to interview with another leader. It was more of an interrogation than an interview. I was told that my responsibilities would be 80% of the outbound work, which was not described in the job description. The most uncomfortable interview I have ever had.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SCAN Health Plan in Mar 2023
Interview
Remote interviews. Then a Remote Panel interview with the same people I had interviewed with previously. Asked a number of behavioral questions - nothing about job expectations of=r experience. Behavioral panel interviews are the sign of lazy / inexperienced interviewers (or an immature organization. Especially for senior roles.
