I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at SEIU Local 2015
Interview
I was not given good information about what I was interviewing for, which made the process unfair. HR reached out to interview me because they had my resume on file. I was given a job description with incomplete and inaccurate information about the job opening(s), and I was not allowed to ask questions about the opening(s) till the end of the interview. It felt embarrassing to find out what I was actually interviewing for after I had answered all their questions. In addition, I was not informed who would be interviewing me, until I received a notice 30 minutes before my scheduled interview that several people were added to the calendar invite. Overall, I wish the interview process would have been better organized and more transparent. It was discouraging.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at SEIU Local 2015 (Fresno, CA) in Jun 2023
Interview
3 rounds of interviewing. The first was a phone screening, for roughly 15 min, the second was a Zoom interview for an hour, and the third was an in-person interview for an hour. The entire process was 4 weeks. In the zoom interview, we did a mock trial where I pretend to knock on someone's door and get them to join the union. Very difficult and hard to train for. They don't look for "correctness" , but how well you respond and utilize the feedback they give you after each run. My mock trial had me restart 3 times.
