I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at SPARCK in Feb 2023
Interview
Lengthy recruitment process composed of a phone screening, an online interview, and then a presentation online. The task was vague and tough to prepare for, and upon my rejection, they procrastinated on giving feedback, even after follow-ups and responses on their end.
Was pleasantly surprised at how SPARCK treats prospective candidates: with a lot of respect and attention. Even if I did not get the job, I still enjoyed the process a lot.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at SPARCK (Manchester, England) in Oct 2020
Interview
The interview process was fluent, attentive, professional and very respectful. I felt the first stage was enjoyable to explore my case studies and portfolio in detail. It made me feel more valued; however, it did confuse me in terms of how the process was going.
The second stage was talking through the design challenge I was given, I felt I covered a lot of areas in such a short time as well as mainly looking at them thinking, not the final solution. I felt they enjoyed my presentation, and I got the impression I had it's in the bag'.
The feedback they gave, was different from what I though it be, which I actually disagreed with. Whether there was some confusion in there, I don't know and being remote maybe that didn't help either. All in all, I felt the process was caring and respectful even if I wasn't offered the role.
