Took almost 3 weeks to get a decision. 1st interview is with their HR admin/recruiter. 2nd is with the existing CSM on-site in their office. 3rd is with the customer success director and the other csm. 4th is with the Head of client success/sales, pretty much the boss of all the others who interviewed me.
When I got the rejection email, 2 days after the last interview. I asked for feedback and took them a while to get back to me. And their response was I was not able to
articulate what the role is about and did not ask more questions.
I was apalled, he is the 4th person I spoke with. I already asked all the questions from the other 3. I asked him questions and he was in a hurry althroughout the interview as he was about to go for a run.
When I was explaining how I understood the job tasks, he goes “that’s exactly what it is” He even stopped me as my explanation was already too long.
What a waste of effort and time. How can you go from “we have a very good feedback after your interviews” during the first three interviews and go to “we needed you to explain it more and you did not ask enough questions”
THEIR INTERVIEW PROCESS DOES NOT MAKE SENSE!
