STE was prompt, efficient, and professional the entire process. They kept me in constant communication about the status of my application and next steps. After a brief phone screening, I was invited for an in-person interview with one of their staff. The interview lasted 20 mins and said I would hear back within 5 bus days. They contacted my references and called me 3 days later with an offer.

Interview
After submitting my application, I got a follow-up email said that STE would like me to complete a one-way video interview via Spikehire. The video interview included 7 questions. Each videos have a 1 minute limit, it will stop recording even if you are not done. However, you can retake your recording if you don't feel like you gave the best answer.

Interview
I was scheduled for a phone screening shortly after applying. The conversation was pleasant, and the woman I spoke to was informative and enthusiastic about STE Consultants. This phone screening lead to an in-person interview. According to the feedback I received from this interviewer, I performed quite well. After the interview I was told I would hear back from either of the two people I've been in contact with in 3-5 business days, once they've contacted my references. Given the initial positive experience and interview processes, imagine my surprise on the 9th business day and I'm yet to hear anything back. I've never experienced this before, so perhaps it's common practice. But I find it highly unprofessional, not to mention rude. It's one thing to decide to not make a job offer, but it is completely inappropriate to fail to follow through. After I spent my time and energy on this process, it is puzzling why I wouldn't receive a response from the follow up email I sent, or the phone call to the person who did the phone screening. The former was done within the 5 business days(to show my appreciation for their time and further express my interest) I was expected to wait, the latter after the 5th business day. It's poor practice to waste someone's time, imply their performance to be just what you're looking for, and then simply not follow through.
