Interview
First interview was over the phone. Basic breakdown of the responsibilities of the position. Few informal questions. Next interview was 2 hours long with the head of the research department and another member of the team. Questions ranged from personal, technical, off-guard problem solving, and general interview questions.

How would you monitor a mouse's location at any given point within a laboratory cage from another room without using a camera?

Interview lasted all day. Met with 11 people including CEO, COO, founders, sales force (5), tech support manager and production manager. Travel arrangements were OK, but forgot to advise that hotel did not have restaurant. Culture was very open and "family like", with one manager allowed to have his dog at the office (!).

Asked to discuss biggest challenge I would face in the position if hired. Not completely unexpected, but called for tact on my part to respond without alienating anyone. Company is in transition and there were a lot of areas for improvement.
