I was asked to take a CCAT test by the recruiter stating the HM really liked my profile but I already have an extremely strong GMAT score 710. It sounded to me like it was a checkbox from her own language but turns out they were using it to filter candidates. I recommend letting candidates know explicitly in advance that this is a screening process because it’s misleading. Performance on the CCAT can vary based on prep and time constraints so they can weigh that decision better. I’ve interviewed with far higher caliber companies that treated candidates with more respect and gave face time instead of sending an aptitude test despite already being tested at the highest levels.
