I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Savory Restaurant (New York, NY) in Jan 2015
Interview
It was rather simple and took about 2 weeks. I was first contacted by a recruiter who saw me on LinkedIn. After talking with her, I was set up to talk with the hr manager at Savory. There was a phone interview and then was invited to meet with the hiring manager, hr and other employees for culture fit. The last round was meeting with the CEO. A large part of the process was seeing if I would be a cultural fit.

Interview
Interview was friendly and conversational. There were definitely pointed and specific questions, but nothing I wasn't prepared for. Both the potential supervisor and HR director were present. Questions were both geared towards the position itself, as well as my personality/how I would fit in with the team/culture.

Question 1
How do you deal with issues/problems and resolve them in order to maintain customer loyalty?

Interview
I applied through HireArt I believe. The owner contacted me shortly there after to come in and meet him in person. He seemed a bit disorganized because I had to follow up with him several times. That being said, with a start up enviroment, I am sure he has a million other things to be concerned with. When I finally met him, we spoke for about 35 minutes. The questions were fairly basic. I never heard back, though I did not follow up. It did not feel like the right fit.

Question 1
Tell me about your experience. Tell me about yourself. What would you do the first day you got here? How would you approach this market and this type of customer? Do you think working in a start up environment, wearing several hats and not having as much formal training was a disadvantage? (thought this was weird question because my experience very much mimicked this position so he was kind of shooting himself in the foot here)
