I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Schiff Hardin (Chicago, IL)
Interview
It was a tough interview with 3 or 4 rounds. I didn't think the interview helped prepare me for the job, however, it was very informative about the firm and the culture. I was able to have an idea of how my job fit into the puzzle and that was very helpful when making my decision
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Schiff Hardin (Chicago, IL) in May 2014
Interview
was told I will be interviewed by HR and Manger for paralegals. Instead I walked in the interview with 5 individuals Hr manager, Paralegal Manger for the paralegals and some other her staff. The job description was not difficult. I was caught off guard by the amount of individuals interview me. They asked conflicting questions . They seems unprepared and I was not sure that they were actually looking for someone. I felt uninterested in the interview I just wanted to get out!. Worst experience ever!!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
nothing really more than tell be about your previous experience and kept asking the same questions by different individuals in the room.. how i felt about working over time.
Includes: one hour writing exam, one hour panel interview, lunch, and 6 on-on-one interviews. The panel interview was the worst--eight interviewers take turns drilling you on a six-page long list of behavioral questions.
By far, this was the longest (and worst) interview I encountered. It was also unnecessarily long--many of the one-on-one interviewers did not ask any questions.
