Screening process was through a third party application that required you to answer technical questions through 30 second to 2 minute video recordings. During this process you were not given a chance to directly talk to a company member or ask questions about the company. After the screening process, you where then tasked to complete a coding task requiring you to build a simple React application that retrieves data from an api service and providing an means to input text and render the search response properly. This is done through a 45 minute zoom meeting where you can only share one screen at a given time, costing you precious time when switching between your editor and the browser you are presenting the app on. You were then given a numerical rating x/50, grading you from a scale of 0 -10 for: 1. Understanding the requirements - 10/10 2. Completing the challenge - 10/10 3. Code Quality - 5/10 4. Speed - 9/10 5. Communication - 8/10 I was not given another interview due to my low code quality score.
