Applied for a copywriting position. Submitted a writing sample, at which point they requested a writing test. Normally, these are 1-2 pages; they asked for an entire chapter. They also recommended I purchase their ebook on Amazon to reference... felt more like a shady way to sell books than a job interview.
10 pages later, and I was rejected. Asked for constructive feedback and was ghosted. Left the experience feeling like I was used for free labor
