The interview process consisted of an initial phone screen with the recruiter. At the end of the interview, I was told I would move on to the next round with the hiring manager and the recruiter stated he would be in touch.
Fast forward one week. After following up, I was told by the recruiter that the job role was being re-worked and that it wouldn't affect my moving to the next round. Fast forward another week. After following up with the recruiter again, I was told the organization was going through a reorganization and that I would hear back from them about my follow up interview the following week. Fast forward yet another week. I was told the position was going to be handled by a different recruiter and I should keep in touch with that individual. I did on multiple occasions and never heard back from the new recruiter.
Ghosting potential candidates is bad for business and needs to stop! I would not refer this organization to anyone if this is how candidates are going to be treated.
