Everything was going well, and I successfully passed all the steps. However, they later said they couldn’t find an open project to allocate me to. After a long period of stalling, I was eventually rejected. If there was no open position, why waste candidates’ time?

Slightly chaotic towards the end without clarity on what they were looking for and how to verify it in a candidate. HR was on point but recruiting manager was a bit disorganized.
