Highly informal first process and no real questions, seemed like they did not like the background from minute 1. Then why not to eliminate during cv process? Seemed like interviewer has no idea about the CVs.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Simpson Thacher (New York, NY)
Interview
I met with the staff attorney manager and the heard of human resources and went over my previous experience and future expectations. It was pretty straight forward and conducted in a conference room. I think the main purpose of the interview was to confirm my resume details and get a feeling for my personality and how I interacted with others.

Extremely drawn out. Was contacted by HR in early October for an interview, had the interview (with two partners) at the end of October and didn't receive an offer until January.
