Interview process for shortlisting went pretty fast for 1st phone call. 2nd interview with HR Director was very thorough on the phone and was very straight forward. In person interview for the 3rd meeting with the Hiring Manager. Then it became strange as I came in as senior level experience and an hour going through every role on my resume. Not the usual questions, lots of complaining about Sirius XM US, basically no creativity in the department, no new ideas, you piggy back off the US, and what they didn’t want to do I would have to do. Lots of probing and wanting to understand how I came up with ideas or reached my numbers. All in all they were more curious than ever wanting to hire me. The reason I did so well and promoted in each role was the way I worked as a team. If I was over qualified I shouldn’t have moved to the next round. I travelled 2 hours to get there and back and I was completely ghosted after the interview process. I am extremely disappointed with a lot of an old mentality and business processes. Like everyone else we just want to work even if it means working in a role that focus on one role. I definitely won’t be signing back up for Sirius XM Canada.
