The interviewers were very friendly and conversational. They asked me to walk them through my portfolio and explain my design process. They then introduced their company and some potential projects that I will be working on during my internship.

My interview with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill was an overall very positive experience. The process felt professional yet approachable, with a focus on understanding my background, design sensibilities, and how I approach creative problem-solving. I had the opportunity to discuss my portfolio and past projects in depth, and the interviewers were engaged, curious, and supportive throughout. Overall, it was a constructive conversation that left me with a strong impression of the collaborative and thoughtful culture at SOM.
