It was a virtual one on one and after this process they alerted me of my training date a week later. The process was so pretty seemless and the company is good to work for but any little mistake you make you can be out.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at SkyWest Airlines (Portland, OR) in Aug 2018
Interview
1. Check in and get height measured. Make sure to talk to other candidates and be friendly.
2. Listen to presentation about SkyWest.
3. 1 minute speech about why you would make a great flight attendant- do not talk about family or age or loving travel. I talked about my work experience in a sense that I’ve worked with people from very broad backgrounds. Also talk about skills (flexibility, able to work under pressure, etc).
4. There will be a 45 min break- make connections with other candidates (they’re always watching and you never know who will be in your training class- always nice to have friends).
5. They will post a sign on the door with the names of the candidates moving forward for a f2f interview (ours was 14 out of 40).
6. I would get contact info of everyone who got a f2f so you can find out who makes it through and plan for training together.
Good luck!

Interview
Most of the interview involved picking apart my previous work experience. Asked a few basic questions, they are just looking for a certain look. It’s obvious. My look did not fit the part
