I applied via their website, heard back quickly from an internal recruiter/hr person and had an in-person interview a week later. I had a very similar experience to someone else who has posted here, albeit a few years ago now. My interview went great, I met with two creative directors and a producer and we all seemed to get along well. They talked about some of the projects they had coming up and gave me examples of ones they'd done before. After the interview, I was told by HR person that I'd hear back in 48 hours. A couple of weeks passed and I finally heard back - they wanted me as part of their 'freelancer community'. I was made to sign forms, onboard, and told that I'd receive emails about any projects they'd want me for. A few weeks later and I receive an email about a project they wanted to know my availability for. I told them I was available and would like to find out more. No response. Another week later and another project brief is sent my way. I said I was available and asked to find out more. I got told the digital producer on the project would be in touch. No response. Over a month later and they ask me if I'm still available for the first project which they emailed me about. I told them I was unavailable, asked about the other project and got no response back. No surprises there. I understand that project requirements change, clients postpone, and things may be out of their control, but I would have greatly appreciated it if they made the effort to reply, provide updates, and generally just be better with their communication. It's almost as if they seem oblivious to it.
