I applied online. I interviewed at Sprouts Farmers Market
Interview
I was called in the afternoon to schedule an interview the following morning. I received an email telling me how to prepare for interview and a interview reminder last night. I was told vitamin clerk is one of the toughest positions to fill and that I sounded like a perfect fit. I was very excited, went and purchased a book to further my knowledge, dry cleaned my suit, drove by Embassy Suites where my interview would be so I wouldn't have any trouble getting there in the morning, and was feeling optimistic. I went to bed early so I would be well rested, and I arrived 20 minutes early. I was told that all the positions for vitamin clerk were filled yesterday and then handed a application to fill out for other departments. This is the most unprofessional company and worst interview or lack of interview experience I'd ever had. Needless to say I would never recommend this company to anybody.

I transferred from another store, so it was actually quite easy! The process was seamless. I transferred from another store in Texas. They made the process super easy. They asked about how long I had worked at the previous store and why I was transferring.

Question 1
They were really mindful about what hours I wanted to work which was nice!!
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Sprouts Farmers Market (Las Vegas, NV) in Sept 2024
Interview
Simple, easy going, talked about my experiences and how I would handle situations with a customer. Giving examples of my past experience about going above and beyond. Showing my personality, characters, values, passion for health, food, well-being, vitamins, supplements, beauty, skincare etc.
Also keep in mind that some stores, this store specifically has a long hiring process -- took about 1-2 weeks to receive an email for the 1st interview, 1 more week to schedule 2nd interview, and currently, a week later from 2nd interview.
I called to find out if I got the job or not, but the other person on hiring team said they are doing a 3rd round of interviews next week.
I had no idea, so this was unexpected. Not a bad thing, it shows they take great care in who they add to their team.
The vitamin manager I interviewed with said they were deciding this week who they were hiring. So I was uninformed. There must be several good candidates.
Everyone I spoke with was kind and had great energy. They strive to have the best customer service and experience and it does show. Just some things to keep in mind.

10 minutes standing in the back area, with two people. Very chill and welcoming and met many employees in different sectors of the store. Not offered because of my lack of availability (only for a month).
