I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Standard Chartered Bank (London, England) in Dec 2023
Interview
I did all the online stages successfully over December 2023. They missed their own deadline to get back to me twice, then told me they had filled the position: no explanation.
I interviewed at Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong)
Interview
Submitted the job application online. Standard Chartered uses Pymetrics for online assessments. Received an invitation to complete their games assessment (numerical and cognitive), and then the next stage is the digital interview.
I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Standard Chartered Bank in Feb 2022
Interview
The 45 minutes of automated testing required to move forward to the first round of online tests was insultingly simple and had seemingly nothing to do with any actual skills. My skill in "processing" was determined based on how quickly I could click a spacebar when told. Another test required that I decide when to stop blowing up a balloon before it pops. I do not understand how this constitutes anything resembling an interview and needless to say I did not complete the assessment. It seems that there are two or three more automated steps before reaching an employee-- applying here is a waste of time.
