Staples Senior Java Developer interview questions

I had 4 interviews with different people (management, developers), looked like i passed (did java coding as well, during coding mentioned how i would do it in c#), was said few times that position is language agnostic (i.e. they do not care about language - c# or java), but in the end agent informed me that i was declined due "they feel you are stronger in c# but they need stronger java developer". looked like waste of time to me. they cannot make their mind
