The recruiter, in my case, was the team leader of the Service Desk position I was applying for. He asked basic open-ended questions to evaluate your behavior and how well you will work with others. There where a few technical questions to show basic competence in the IT field.

Recruiter contacted me after seeing my resume posted online- interviewed with the hiring manager - hired the next day. Pretty easy process, all in all. It took about 7 days in total.
