The process is long and overly involved. It’s project based and there are several rounds, with lots of time in between each. The communication between rounds is sparse and the whole process leaves a lot to be desired.

Question 1
What would you do for an underperforming employee?
I applied online. I interviewed at Stitch Fix in Jan 2021
Interview
The interview process is split into multiple different steps, including a presentation, which gives you a good idea of the company and shows you perspectives from multiple different employees.
My main frustration is regarding the lack of tact when telling someone they didn't get the position. I understand they interview many people for each role, but they flip a switch very quickly from open and "authentic" to cold and dismissive. If you are going to market your company and role as one which requires authenticity and continuous feedback, please have the courtesy to afford those same values to those whom you turn away. I was incredibly vulnerable in all of my interviews, and felt very positive coming out that I had a good chance of a job offer. To be politely turned away is one thing, but to be turned away with nothing more than an automated "no thanks" and have my emails requesting feedback ignored is something else entirely. Very disappointed in the outcome of this interview and the lack of feedback/contact from the company.
