I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Stitch Fix (Austin, TX) in Jan 2015
Interview
I first applied online through Zip recruiter. I was asked to upload my resume and cover letter, as well as write three style notes to a hypothetical client about a Fix.
About two weeks later, I was contacted for an interview. I was asked to bring 2 copies of my resume, as well as create a Pinterest board for a hypothetical client and create a style profile on the Stitch Fix website. I was told to bring a charged laptop, as well.
At the interview, I met with a recruiter in the lobby. I watched a brief video about the company and the stylist position. I also typed up a stylist note to accompany my Pinterest board.
I then went up to a hotel room to meet the interviewer, who currently works as a Stitch Fix stylist in the area. We discussed my resume and previous experience. She explained the position a bit more in depth. I looked at 5 pieces and assigned a demographic/body type to them, and I explained how I would style each piece.
Finally, I explained my Pinterest board and wrote my stylist note to the interviewer.

Question 1
If a client requested a specific item, but you don't think it will be flattering for her body type, would you still send her the item?
In-person interview. Very friendly, professional and comfortable. Had a little bit of prep work to do for interview to show abilities to do the job. Presented work casually in person during interview.

After completing an online project, I was contacted by e-mail to schedule a digital interview. The interview was scheduled for one week from the e-mail. The digital interview lasted approximately 45 minutes. I was contacted by e-mail within one week with an offer for the position.
I applied online. I interviewed at Stitch Fix (Cleveland, OH) in Aug 2020
Interview
The interview process was great. You had to submit a mock styling activity where they have you pick out items for a particular client. After getting through that part of the interview, an in-person interview with Stitch Fix staff is scheduled. The two women I interviewed with were very nice and the interview was more conversational in nature rather than just questions and answers.
