The interview process is comprised of 3 main steps:
1. Initial screening with the hiring manager / HR
2. Company "fit" assessment
3. Final round interview with the RISE manager, current team members, and a technical assessment

Application
I applied online. I interviewed at Stryker (Kalamazoo, MI) in Nov 2020
Interview
A few weeks after applying online, I was invited to a 30 minute behavioral interview with a recruiter. After that, ordinarily I would have had to do the gallup interview, but in my case I didn't have to because I had applied for an internship at Stryker previously and already done it. So a week or two after the first interview I was invited to a final round which was a 2.5 hour interview that included the following parts: 30 min "vibe check" interview with current RISE Engineers, 30 min behavioral interview with the hiring manager, 30 min (mostly) behavioral interview with one of the engineering managers, and a 1 hour technical challenge. Overall, they were very communicative and always willing to answer any questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The behavioral questions were fairly standard. The technical challenge used an online whiteboard software and I was presented with several questions testing basic mechanical engineering concepts like gear ratios, conservation of energy, and fluid mechanics.

Interview
3 part interview-
1 get to know you

People were all very kind and fun to talk to! I would interview again. Be ready with specifics about your past experience.
