Surfshark interview questions

Terrible lack of communication between HR and leads that interview you further. Also, some random people that will never be you managers or anything significant get added to your interview and are free to add comments and questions that are just a waste of time.

I had 2 interviews. Although I knew a few people working there, I still had to go through the usual/formal process - a call with a HR person, then with the hiring manager. Funny thing - I applied to one position but HR & people I know in that company decided I'd be more suitable to other position (the team having 2 people in Vilnius, 1 in Kaunas and another 1 or 2 in Poland, go and guess it). Tech requirements for those positions of course were different. Interview with the hiring manager lasted 1h 7mins so a bit past the scheduled window. HM was a bit disappointed my tech stack didn't match their expectations. But hey, remember, I applied to different position, just got transfered by HR here. Still, HM continued to interview me on things that I didn't declare I know. I got a reply that I'm a no match within 10 days or so. Also, I've noticed that the job ad for that very same position was reposted in 2024-Aug, later on it disappeared and appeared back again in 2024-Dec.
