Interview
I got a call from one of the recruiting manager two weeks after I applied online. I had two rounds of interview over Skype. Then I was invited onsite and had a series of meetings with few team members and the HR. I was offered the job after few days by mail and an official job offer letter after a month.
There was no scope of salary negotiation and I accepted the offer as it is. The main issue was with the HR who did not knew what exactly is the process for hiring non-EU nationals. He/She messed up getting the work permits giving incorrect information most of the times. I had to chase the officials in local embassy and the Swiss cantonal authorities to know the exact progress of my application. Frustrated with the inefficiency of the admin team and HR, I had to reject the offer.
