Smooth and Efficient Hiring Process – Great Candidate Experience
I had a very positive interview experience with Switchfly.
The process was straightforward and efficient, with a single interview round with the hiring manager. The discussion focused on my previous experience, a walkthrough of my background, and role-relevant questions related to application support. It was well-structured and to the point.
What stood out the most was how much the company values a candidate’s time. The process was quick, communication was clear, and there were no unnecessary delays or multiple rounds. The team was also flexible and accommodating when it came to scheduling and coordination.
Overall, it was a smooth and respectful hiring experience, which is something candidates truly appreciate.
Would definitely recommend interviewing here.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Switchfly in Mar 2025
Interview
Screener was friendly enough but did not seem to take me seriously. When inquiring on what type of team I'd be working with they audibly laughed before responding. Also asked the same question twice and didn't have much of a response either time, which made me feel like they weren't paying attention to my response.

Interview
The 1st interview round was with another product manager and went really well. The 2nd round was scheduled for 30mins with the Director of Software engineering. He took around 15 mins to talk about the company and the role. I was barely asked anything. It seemed like the recruiter asked me more technical questions that the Director of Software. But, the 1st round of the interview went really well. Seems like the 2nd round was just a formality and they had made up their mind that they were not going to proceed with me. I received a rejection email almost within an hour after the interview. The interviewer also seemed quite distracted during the video call.
