I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at T.K. Maxx (Bristol, England) in Oct 2020
Interview
Applied online via Indeed. Received a call asking about availability. A week later was asked to come in for an interview. Interview consisted of a Retail selection Test (3 pages long but fairly easy, questions that determine how you cope in a retail environment, you are given multiple choice questions and answers). After the questionnaire, the manager marks your answers, and then tells you there and then if you've passed. If you've passed, you are interviewed. The interview was more of an informal chat to discuss your experience and what skills you're able to bring to the role. I was offered the position within the week.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What skills have you learnt since lockdown?
What customer service experience do you have?
What do you know about TK Maxx?
Had to go through several competency-based questions and scenario questions, e.g., what would you do in this scenario, etc. Questions were relatively straight-forward. There was then a paper 'exam' I had to fill out with similar questions, before being asked about my relevant experience and how much time I could commit.

Very relaxed, was asked to talk about myself then was asked questions relating to any experience I had and to give examples of when I have used certain skills, like leadership and group work.
