Interview was set up by a recruiter, after the HR contact reviewed my resume. The interview was supposed to be with the VP of software engineering and a couple other members of IT leadership. The interview went alright, but for some reason everyone but 2 developers attended by teleconference. The interview itself wasn't too bad. I tried to be honest and ask meaningful enough questions to convey I understood the architecture and challenges of the role.
After the interview, there was radio silence for over a week, due to people being out of the office on both the HR and recruitment sides. The recruiter eventually reached out to me and told me T2 had interviewed someone that knocked their socks off.
Overall the experience wasn't too bad. It lasted about 2 weeks from initial contact with the recruiter to rejection. I don't get the feeling I ever had a real shot, though.
