I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at TCF
Interview
Phone call, in-person interview. Make sure you have accurate work history. It was very simple. Hiring managers, and staff are all very friendly. Great training program. I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at TCF (Lakeville, MN) in Jan 2013
Interview
Very brief, HR rep was kind and approachable, but branch manager was awkward. It was extremely easy. If the branch manager did not think you were a good fit, the HR rep tried to fit you into a different branch. They were very accommodating.

Question 1
Nothing was out of the ordinary, pretty basic interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at TCF (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2014
Interview
It was very quick. The interviewer seemed like he was all over the page, and after my interview with him, he immediately asked if I'd like to interview with the manager, which completely threw me off. Not only that, he also wanted to role play-which I was not expecting. From the interview itself, I did not want to do the job but I was desperate and figured I can handle it, which was a big mistake on my part. With the interview with the manager, he had set questions printed, which is standard, and he did not seem interested whatsoever. It was very bland, and he was doing it just do it.
