I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at TCG GreenChem (Ewing, NJ) in Jan 2023
Interview
I literally went because I had no option, and guess what — it felt like a fish market. There were nearly 11 people in the same room. My resume was just printed like a copy and handed around like pamphlets. They asked silly questions, nothing really related to the actual job role.
I think they were more interested in personal life than professional skills. Questions were mostly like: can you work overtime, can you work on Saturdays and Sundays, can you come in the middle of the night if samples are needed, etc.
Worst interview experience I have had in my 6 years of career.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at TCG GreenChem (Trenton, NJ) in Sept 2024
Interview
First round was in-person with head of process chemistry and CEO, they are super nice and knowledgable. This was followed by a virtual on-site interview, where I gave full research presentation and then the audience asked questions. The overall interview experience was really smooth and good, you can tell that people there are smart and very welcoming. The HR there also did a really good job organizing the interview. I’d love to join the company but due to some conflict with my graduation time, I was not able to take the offer. If you really like to grow your industrial experience upon finishing your PhD or master, I highly recommend this company, you can tell people there really wanna help you succeed, and they treat you more than just an employee!
