I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at TD (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2014
Interview
16 people were chosen for the first interview which consisted of two back-to-back parts: behavioural and behavioural+technical. Most technical questions have to do with risk management (what market risk measures do you know) but some just test your general knowledge of finance (how to price a bond/company). The second interview follows the same format. The interviewers are HRs for behavioural questions and risk management people for technical ones. 8 people made it to the second round and 4 were planned to be hired, although I don't know if they indeed were. Make sure to google your interviewers' names before the interview. You can predict many technical questions just by looking at their title/research work. For example, if your interviewer has a background in data management for market risk management, you're likely get a question on data governance processes in CMRM.

Question 1
How to price a bond?
How would you evaluate a company?
Suppose you are responsible for a report that must come out by a certain time. The system glitches and you can't produce the report on time. What actions will you take?
Suppose you receive two pieces of work and it is likely that you can only finish one on time. What will you do? Will you tell one of the managers upfront that you can't finish their work
