I have been working at TD full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Fantastic people! Truly, the people are what make TD. Genuine, driven, smart, encouraging, committed to excellence and communities. Highly diverse and very welcoming.

    Cons

Honestly, I have no cons to offer. This is the first in my career that I can honestly say this.

    Advice to Management

Keep listening and acting on the input of Associates. You're doing great and hearing and actively involved with what's happening at the ground level. This is so appreciated!

I worked at TD full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's difficult to think of any, that's probably because there weren't any.

    Cons

    Where do I start?
    - Taken on a temporary contract with a permanent contract waved in your face as an incentive for you to work hard but a 16k salary just won't wash with a graduate I'm afraid
-Awful pay - a few pennies over minimum wage
    - Ineffective delivery of training - we were all taken on in a big group and made to sit through 5 days + 9 days of product and system information that we were then meant to give to and apply to customers over the phone. The problem with this is that a lot of it was very general and you were constantly having to phone another department or ask a busy colleague for the information. The back office was so constrained and under resourced that you couldn't get any information from them to relay back to the client which just aggravated them.
-Sucking up was the only way to progress. Managers gave out permanent contracts to their favorites and it wasn't necessarily based on your performance
-Some team leaders and managers weren't interested in helping their team with complaints

    Advice to Management

    -Pay more
-Improve the back office by making it more efficient and get rid of old staff who have a bad and unhelpful attitude
