I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TEKsystems (Hanover, MD) in Dec 2014
Interview
I applied through a college career database. I received a call in 1-2 weeks and had a 30-45 minute phone screening within the following week. After that I was asked to come in for a face-to-face interview. It was a 3 on 1 interview with my future manager, an established manager, and a trainee manager. Pretty standard interview. Started off with why you would be a good fit, moved into personality type questions and applied more pressure with "tell me about a time...", and "what would you do if..." type questions.

I applied online. I interviewed at TEKsystems in Feb 2026
Interview
The interview was very straight forward, starting with a phone call with the recruiter to discuss the role. After that, an in-person interview was scheduled. Approximately one hour discussing previous experience, as well as further outlining the role. The interviewers utilized the STAR method of interviewing.

They asked for me to describe scenarios from past experiences. The in-house recruiter will provide you with a very useful list of potential interview questions to brush up on.

Interview
They ask you a lot of behavioral questions to see if you're a good fit, and some minor excel questions. Overall, they seem to be checking more about culture fit as opposed to technical knowledge.
