I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Washington, DC) in Jan 2013
Interview
I took my application in and gave it to a manager and about a week and a half later I received a call to come in for an interview the following week. I wasn't expecting it but the interview was in a group and they asked of all the same 3-4 questions. What does customer service mean to you? Describe teamwork in your own words. And What was the hardest thing about your last job? They wrote down how answers and our availability and told of they would be calling our references. A week or two later I received a call that I got the job and gave me the date for orientation.

Application
I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
very easy and simple, i felt very heard and that they were interested in my work history and what i could add to the team! over all a very good interview and place to work
The TJ Maxx process is fast and straightforward, typically involving a single 20-minute interview. Managers focus on your schedule availability, multitasking abilities, and personality fit for a fast-paced retail environment.
I applied and they called about a week later and I was offered the position on the spot. This was my first job interview during COVID and it went fine. The manager that interviewed me is no longer there, but still a great place.
