I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at TLT (Bristol, England) in Jul 2018
Interview
The interview process was straightforward and logical: a telephone conversation, followed by an informal one to one meeting and then a formal interview with two members of the team. The interview and all communications were open and friendly with plenty of opportunity to ask questions as well as answer them.
Relatively informal discussion of role with partner. Predominantly exploring CV and experience. No competency based questions, overall a fairly standard process which was not too demanding. Some knowledge of the firm would likely be helpful beforehand.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at TLT (Belfast, Northern Ireland) in Mar 2018
Interview
Very interactive, solid constructive questions and excellent information provided about the firm and the role. They helped to engaged in a more free flow conversation rather than stop start question and answer. This helped to create a more relaxed atmosphere which I felt allowed me to answer the questions in greater detail.

Question 1
Some questions on knowledge on the particular area of law, along with experience. They seemed more interest in general experience which appeared to put priority over knowledge and more emphasis on ability to deal with situations.
