I sat down with 3 people to discuss what I thought was a retail job opportunity. I had exceptionally relevant experience and was really excited about the opportunity. The interview was very imformal and unprofessional. The three agreed that this position would report to the CEO, who has a rep for being difficult. No one could tell me exactly what the position would be, but since I'd applied they expanded the positions available. Now there were 5 positions posted, for 20k less than the ad I responded to. One of my interviewees even went so far as to say that he didn't like the retail store idea and that he hoped it fails because he doesn't like it when the CEO is right. This place looks like a playground and it seemed like it would have been a really fun place to work. They made the job sound like it was going to be the hunger games for a shot to work for an egomaniac. What a waste of my time. SEA OF RED FLAGS. Stay away!!!!
