the most unprofessional experience!
I applied in Nov. 2020, I received an interview in Feb 2021. The Interviewer was very nice and open. we talked over different aspects of their product and I had a similar experience in their area. The interviewer showed herself very interested and told me they will set up the next round with a ROS-based take-home coding challenge.
But, I never heard back from their recruiter. after a few weeks, I reached the recruiter and she told me they have decided not to move forward.
So, I don't understand why the manager told me, they will be asked for a coding challenge. It is easy to say "ok, we will interview other applicants and if you were qualified we will notify you for the next round."
This is seriously annoying and unprofessional to keep you waiting!
