Tangoe Implementation Project Manager interview questions

The interview process started out great by the recruiter reaching out via email to set a time for a 30 minute video intro call. There was no salary range listed in the job description so I asked if the recruiter is able to share that pay range with me. She listed 45.000 - 60.000 GBP/year verbally. I replied that fell within my expectations without giving a firm number since this was only an intro call and I had not spoken to anyone on the team yet. The interview ended on a good note and she said she would follow up in the next week. One day later she came back in email asking for a defined salary number and listed the salary range now as 35.000 - 45.000 GBP/year. I was extremely vexed that she had changed the range from what she told me verbally and nor did she acknowledge it. I replied via email that differs from what she provided verbally and asked for 50.000 GBP/year based on my education and experience. They sent a rejection email 9 days later. I found Tangoe recruitment behaviors to be untrustworthy and will not be interacting with them in the future.
