Interview
They were quick in the process. I applied online and received a call a few hours later to set up a time to speak with someone in HR. They let me choose which time works best for me, which is always good for someone working. Later, they contacted me again and said the time doesn't work for them and to choose another time, which wasn't a problem. The phone screen was short and about 15 minutes, very straightforward and standard questions. They then set up a time for an in-person interview, but cancelled afterwards as they were pursuing another candidate. The process can definitely be better coordinated and decisions seemed to just be made on a whim.
It was smooth and I got the expected salary. They asked about the family background. The work pressure, expectations from job. The interview was scheduled on teams with HR Rohit Taneja and Ritika Srivastva.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at TaskUs (San Antonio, TX) in Sept 2018
Interview
Only made it to first phone interview/screen. Received the dreaded "thanks but...." email within a week of the conversation. Noticed that my LinkedIn profile had been checked. The recruiter was very personable. Several references were made by folks (I know others that work for them) to them being a "young" company, high energy needed, fast-paced, etc. There may be some age bias, but not sure.
