A consultancy called me for this role. After about a week, they scheduled a video interview. What was weird was that they asked me to turn on the video but they had it off the entire time. I could see nothing but a black screen and my face. In a professional environment, it should either be from both sides or none. The interviewer asked me questions covering every word in my resume. I answered almost all the questions. It went really well. At least, that's what I thought. From the experience, I could say that the interviewer was quite new and didn't know how to end the interview. After around 10 days, I called the consultancy to find out that I have not been shortlisted. But they gave me no reason. It felt like all the questions were targeted at solving the problems the team members were facing, without any intention to hire. I may be wrong but oh, well.
