      Store Manager Position Interview

      5 Oct 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Teavana

      Interview

Area manager emailed me and set a time to meet. We had an hour long conversation. We talked about Teavanas history, the buyout and changes that have come with that. She asked me about what tea means to me and what role does it play in my life. She asked some general performance based questions. She asked about strengths and weaknesses and asked me to walk her through a time when I had to have a difficult conversation with a team member and how I followed through with it. Overall the meet up went really well. Second interview was a call interview with the senior recruiter. She was very nice and again spoke about teavana, went over the benefits more in depth, and we talked more about compensation. She did also asked me what size teams I have managed and the volume of the stores as well. The interview was light, friendly and seems very natural. I have another phone interview with another area manager and the regional director next Saturday.
