Pretty cookie cutter interview. I dressed up in a suit and tie (cause that's what I was taught growing up). I arrived 30 minutes early but sat in the parking lot until 15 minutes til the interview. I came inside and checked in with security. They were pretty nice. My interviewer (who is now my current manager) was actually a couple minutes late. To be fair he seemed to be very busy. Knowing him now I kinda laugh at that day, because he does not like tardiness at all. In fact he is very punctual for everthing. The 2 of us went into a small room and sat at a table that could probably have sat 4 people. It was a very private one on one discussion. He asked some bio questions (where I'm from, how long i've lived here, stuff like that). Then he got into my history on my resume. He had it in front of him and had already prewritten some notes on it. Basically he had already done his homework on me. He was just verifying that I would repeat what was on my resume. He told me a little about the company and facility and asked what I was looking for from an employer. After having a good conversation everything seemed to be going well. He said he was satisfied and I was eager to come to work. But he had to elevate my application to the hiring manager (or something like that). It took them THREE WEEKS to call me back. Even though I had already started working somewhere else, I was going to take this job if they called me. So I did. Pretty happy with my decision.
