Thanks for taking the time to submit a review your experience of applying at Tenstreet. It's true, we have an auto reply email that we send out informing candidates who apply here at Tenstreet. It's an email to let candidates know that we have received their resume and is intended to set expectations about how long it might take for us to respond. It's also true that while we're trying to clearly communicate with each candidate who applies how important their resume is and how seriously we'll take their application review.... that we also do this in a humorous way. It's an attempt to be light hearted and reflect a bit of uniqueness and fun in an often rigid and impersonal process. Evidently our attempt at humor and joy had the opposite affect on you. We're sorry you felt it came across as condescending and rude. We're disappointed our attempt to give respect while also giving you a glimpse into our highly professional, yet also casual culture made you feel disrespected. It was far from our intent.
