First, I was brought in for a preliminary interview with the Head of the School, Head of the Department, and the Dean of Students. After meeting with them, they gave me a tour of the campus and a week or two later, I was called back for a follow-up interview. I also scheduled time to observe a few classes as I would have to teach a class as part of the follow-up interview. In my case, I taught two classes and was observed by ~3 different people per class that I taught. Throughout the day I interviewed with a variety of different people around campus. Everyone that I met was very amiable and it was a friendly process the whole way through. However, they do expect a lot and part of why I believe it went so smoothly was that I was very prepared after speaking to as many people as I could about what the process entailed and how to best approach it.
