I applied online. I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2022
Interview
I waited 40 minutes in total at the restaurant itself for the manager to come out. I wasn’t taken to a room and was placed in between casual diners. Once the manager did come out to greet me, I was asked if I could work on weekends. I specifically put in my application that I could only work on weekdays and it was clear they didn’t even look at my application until they were sat in front of me. They told me I couldn’t proceed with the interview if I can’t work on weekends and was dismissed. Nowhere on the application form was the weekend availability considered a requirement for getting hired. They didn’t consider my time and energy wasted to come here and apply and was never told this throughout the many phone call interactions. Very unprofessional and disappointing.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Glendale, WI) in Mar 2026
Interview
You initially interview with an assistant manager or something. It is a rather easy interview but then they say they will get back to you about setting up a second interview and they never do. Felt like the were giving me the run-around. Not professional.

Interview
3 interviews, first 2 pretty much just about availability, last one was more scenario questions such as what you would do if you noticed a guest wasn't having a good experience and how to better it. Also asked about past work history, specifically if you've worked in retail or fast food/a restaurant before

Interview
Very easy interview process. I sat down with one of the shift managers and we went over job duties, my experience and availability. They mostly ask about reliability and availability.
