Was called by HR for a procurement manager interview. Video call with hiring manager next day. Was told by hiring manager that he would love to see me on his team. Said I usually give a project at the end but since I did so well he would move me along the interview process and send project end of day. Moved to interview VP of finance( Chief Procurement officer). Kept asking me who I knew at my current company. Told me that I don’t have that much indirect procurement background and doesn’t think I would fit. They don’t have that big of a team to train. Respected his candor. Had another meeting scheduled for that upcoming Monday in which HR cancelled. Assumed the VP would have told his team that he wasn’t moving me along the interview process. He did not, and received another email from HR saying they needed to reschedule the interview. Apparently they don’t speak to each other. This place has gone downhill like the rest of the reviews state. I used to work here from 2000-2007 when they had a great leader and upper management team. Now they have no clue on what they are doing. Additionally who tells a potential employee I was screamed by my boss for an hour and this is not a 9-5. At a certain level you know what needs to be done and you’re not watching the clock. TCP get your act together! Sad how downhill this company has gone.
