I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Cosmopolitan (Las Vegas, NV) in Jun 2021

      Interview

During the interview, they asked about past work experiences, alcohol knowledge and how you would upsell. Listing 5 different types of alcohol brands (so prepare yourselves). What made you choose The Cosmopolitan and why should they hire you over other candidates.

      Beverage Server Interview

      18 Dec 2016
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at The Cosmopolitan (New York, NY) in Nov 2015

      Interview

Lengthy and costly. HR dropped the ball over and over again. Showed up to meetings that were improperly scheduled. Had to do all your own legwork in obtaining the proper licenses to start work. Basically no on boarding but they expect you to have the contact information of every department head and understand the hierarchy before you even begin working. Whole thing is a joke.
